I am pretty new to this so I would like to start with learning various icing techniques. I have a problem with uniformity and finding a swirl or stroke pattern that I like.

Hi Donna,
This is a great idea, thanks for getting us excited about cake!
I want to learn how to make black icing (that does not taste like poop), for piping detail on sculpted cakes. Also, if I want my MM Fondant to dry fast (for figures), is there something I can add to it?
Thank you for all the time you spend on us!

To get mmf to dry quicker, you can add tylose powder to it and I sometimes sit my stuff in front of a small fan and it really helps things to dry quicker.
